Where possible, we will use any information provided by a third party to process your remortgage and avoid duplication but sometimes the data may not have been given to us or we may have to do our checks to satisfy our own regulations.
We are based in Yorkshire, ey up, where we are very proud of our puddings and
partial to a bit of rhubarb but we are very much a national firm and there is no need to attend our office unless you want to pop in for a chat! We can deal with your remortgage over the phone, via our hub – Hoowla, or by email.
Hoowla is the interactive hub we use to process your remortgage case. It allows us to communicate securely (as a password is needed to log on) and is a really great way of us being able to show you how your remortgage is progressing.
The crucial aspect when considering how long your remortgage will take depends on
when we receive the mortgage offer from your new lender and whether or not you
have any Early Repayment Charges (ERC’s) with your current lender. If you are
looking to complete as soon as possible and we are in receipt of your new mortgage
offer, then we will aim to complete a freehold remortgage within 7 to 14 days of the
receipt of this offer. We just need enough time to send you a mortgage deed for you
to sign and return. Some remortgages will complete quicker and others slower but
we will always aim to progress your case in accordance with the timescales you indicate in the Remortgage Information Form. You can help speed things up by
returning any paperwork or requests for information promptly.
